New Book Explores Marjorie Merriweather Post's Fashion Legacy

Set to debut on September 8, 2026, 'The Fashion and Style of Marjorie Merriweather Post' is a collaboration between Rizzoli Electa and Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens. Written by Megan J. Martinelli, who serves as the curator for apparel, jewelry, accessories, and textiles at Hillwood, this 200-page book features new photography by Alex Braun and Mark Finkenstaedt. It also includes a foreword by Kate Markert, the executive director of Hillwood. The book delves into Post's extensive fashion collection, highlighting numerous garments, jewelry pieces, and accessories from the late 19th century through the 1960s, all while framing it within the context of American fashion and decorative arts.
