New Artisanal Training Center Opens in Eure Department, Expanding Goldsmith Education Options

A new educational facility for artisanal crafts has been established in France's Eure department, specifically at the Château de Tournebut in Val-d'Hazey. Named La Fabrique des métiers d'art, this center began operations in November 2025 and offers a CAP Orfèvrerie program with a polisseur-aviveur specialization starting from January. The curriculum targets adults undergoing career transitions, compressing 800 instructional hours into a ten-month schedule. This development increases the national options for aspiring goldsmiths to three training locations, joining existing programs at Lyon's SEPR and Saumur's Institut de bijouterie.
