Natasha Ozcan Gains Practical Heritage Experience Through Llandudno Museum Placement

Natasha Ozcan, a second-year History student at Bangor University, completed a student placement at Llandudno Museum and Gallery from September to December 2021. During her time there, she engaged in various museum operations including front desk services, collections handling, and digital conservation. Her final project involved digitally preserving a 1916 autograph book containing sketches and dedications. The experience provided her with practical skills in heritage work, improved her communication abilities, and helped clarify her career aspirations. She has since applied for an editorial assistant position through Bangor University's internship program.
