Madrid Publisher Libritos Jenkins Reissues Expanded Edition of Cult Fanzine 'La música más rara del mundo'

Madrid-based publisher Libritos Jenkins, born from radical self-publishing, has launched an expanded reissue of its best-selling fanzine 'La música más rara del mundo'. Originally published in 2009 by cultural disseminator Óscar Alarcia, the 124-page micro-encyclopedia is packed with data on 'the crooked lines of music': eccentric artists, atrocious experimenters, groups with members suffering disabilities, and recordings of animals, noises, and silence. The original fanzine sold 1,500 copies—a feat achieved through complete self-management: writing, layout, printing, mail-order sales, and delivery to bookstores. The expanded edition continues this tradition.
