José M. Domínguez reelected president of Fundación Unicaja

José M. Domínguez has been re-elected as the president of Fundación Unicaja, where he has introduced governance reforms. In 2023, the foundation initiated its inaugural corporate governance review plan aimed at improving transparency and management assessments. Additionally, a Strategic Plan for 2023-2025 was established, alongside a roadmap for 2026-2028 to broaden its social impact. Domínguez has reinforced Unicaja Banco's governance, enhanced investment capabilities, and established a contingency fund. Notable achievements include the opening of new offices, a refreshed corporate identity, and backing for the Centro de Investigación y Terapias Avanzadas del Cáncer. New trustees were appointed, and a Division of Strategy was formed. Domínguez, who holds a PhD in Economics, has earned numerous awards for his work.
