Between 2018 and 2019, Johnny Brito created Tipoversos, a series of posters that visually interpret 15 popular Brazilian songs using only lines. Brito selected these tracks based on personal preference, aiming to reflect Brazil's contemporary social climate through a blend of critique, protest, and hope. To enhance the project's national character, he exclusively employed fonts designed by Brazilians, specifically Silva Text Medium and Vinila Condensed Regular, chosen for their condensed forms, comfortable x-heights, and balanced optical weight.
