Guimet Museum Hosts Pansori Weekend Showcasing Korean Narrative Singing Art

The Musée Guimet in Paris will celebrate pansori, an 18th-century Korean narrative singing tradition, from April 24 to 26. Kicking off the weekend, singer Jung You-sook will present 'Le dit de Chunhyang, épouse fidèle' on April 24 at 8 PM, with tickets priced at 16 euros for general admission and 7 euros for concessions. The following day, a literary gathering featuring Han Yumi, Hervé Péjaudier, and others will take place at 4 PM, followed by a complimentary screening of Im Kwon-taek's 2000 film 'Le Chant de la fidèle Chunhyang' at 8 PM. Finally, on April 26 at 4 PM, 'Le dit du bon Heungbo et de son odieux frère Nolbo' will be performed for 7 euros.
