Guillermo Zapata publishes mystery novel 'Animales de costumbres'

Guillermo Zapata, former Madrid city councilor, releases 'Animales de costumbres' (Editorial Plasson e Bartleboom, 2026), a mystery and horror novel set in an isolated housing development where classism and lack of empathy pervade. The story follows a world transformed by a toxic orange gas. Bob Pop describes it as a cross between Stephen King and Annie Ernaux. Zapata previously authored 'Perfil bajo' (2018) on free speech and social media, and 'No a todo' (2023) on the Tamayazo scandal. This is his first fiction work.
