Graphic Novel Captures Lebanon's War Experience Through Illustrated Correspondence

A new graphic novel titled with a common greeting question has been published by Casterman, documenting life during conflict in Lebanon. The work emerged from an extended visual correspondence between Paris-based illustrator Charles Berberian and Beirut-based artist Michèle Sandjofski. Their artistic exchange occurred while Israel was conducting military operations against Lebanon. The project offers a personal perspective on the human experience of living through warfare.
