Geografie Interiori Residency Launches in Val Tramontina with Six Artists

The residency 'Geografie Interiori' begins June 29, 2026, in Val Tramontina, part of Pordenone's bid as Italian Capital of Culture 2027. Curated by Michela Lupieri, it involves artists Vittoria Assembri, Zeno Franchini, Michelle Jonker, Massimo Ricciardo, Virginia Zanetti, and students Valentina Marchetti and Beatrice Migliorati from ISIA Urbino. Themes include food, crafts, water ecosystems, and valley sounds, aiming to regenerate depopulated areas. The residency runs four weeks across Casa Abis, Campone, and Bosco Bandito, with public activities and a talk on spoken language as sound. The first exhibition 'Frammenti' opens July 22, 2026, in Pordenone. A book by Studiofaganel will be published in May 2027, followed by a final exhibition. Organizer Associazione Obliquo, founded in 2020, operates in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
