Gender Liberation Movement Hosts Trans-Centered Dinner in Los Angeles

The Gender Liberation Movement organized a dinner event in Los Angeles's West Adams neighborhood, hosted by prominent figures including Laverne Cox, Elliot Page, Sasha Colby, and Brian Michael Smith. Parents of trans youth, including speechwriter Andy Dumont, spoke about advocacy efforts and family relocations for safety. Juniperangelica Gia Loving of the GSA Network emphasized the importance of familial support networks. The event occurred against a backdrop of political challenges to trans healthcare, with some attendees having recently participated in Washington D.C. protests.
