Fondazione Morra Greco marks 20 years with exhibition and new educational focus

On July 2, 2026, the Fondazione Morra Greco opens the group show 'Admiranda e Arcana Naturae' at MUSA in Naples, curated by Giulia Pollicita. The exhibition launches the foundation's 20th-anniversary celebrations, running until September 30, 2026. Founded by dentist and collector Maurizio Morra Greco, the foundation began planning in 2003 and officially launched its exhibition program in 2006 with a Gregor Schneider show. In 2008, it became Italy's first mixed public-private foundation, with the Campania Region joining its board. Since 2019, it has operated from Palazzo Caracciolo di Avellino in Naples' historic center. The 20-year milestone arrives in November 2026. Morra Greco emphasizes the foundation's focus on art production, artist relationships, and education. In 2022, it launched EDI Global Forum, an international platform for art education research, hosting over 200 museums annually. The foundation prioritizes marginal and mid-career artists, often reviving overlooked careers. Future plans include developing professional training for artisans and installers, aiming for social development through art.
