Escuela SUR and Círculo de Bellas Artes Launch 2026-2027 Fundamental Course in Arts and Artistic Professions

The Escuela SUR, in collaboration with the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, has announced its Curso Fundamental de Artes y Profesiones Artísticas for the 2026-2027 academic year. This unique program in Spain aims to guide students in exploring various artistic disciplines before specializing. Running from October 2026 to April 2027, the course includes workshops in printmaking, sound creation, drawing, theater, graphic narrative, art theory, processes, performance, photography, writing, dance, painting, collage, cinema, graphic design, and communication. Students will also receive professional orientation through meetings with artists and professionals. The course is held at the Círculo de Bellas Artes (c/ Alcalá, 42, Madrid). Enrollment opens in October 2025, with a non-refundable deposit of €1,000 and total tuition of €5,000, payable in installments. Selection involves interviews with the SUR team. The program emphasizes interdisciplinary practice and critical thinking, preparing students for further specialized training.
