Elska Magazine Releases Issue on Ho Chi Minh City Featuring Local Men's Stories

Elska Magazine has launched its fifty-seventh issue, titled 'Elska Ho Chi Minh City,' focusing on the lives of gay men in Vietnam's largest city. The publication combines photography and personal narratives to depict the city's cultural contrasts, described by editor Liam Campbell as electric yet approachable, modern yet traditional. This issue marks the magazine's first venture into Vietnam after twelve Asian editions, highlighting seven individuals through street and home photoshoots that include both fashion and nude portraits. Notable profiles include Harry, who shares his experiences living with HIV; Jesse, who discusses confidence and intimacy; and Tin, who reflects on Vietnamese communism. The photography captures elements like coffee shops, monsoon rains, and mopeds to evoke Saigon's atmosphere. Available in print and digital formats, the issue is accompanied by an e-zine with additional content and a limited-edition postcard set. The release aims to offer an authentic portrayal of everyday life in Ho Chi Minh City, with products accessible online and in select stores globally.
