Creation Museum Unveils Major Additions and Upcoming Music Festival

The Creation Museum, which opened on May 28, 2007, has undergone significant expansions and updates over the years. In 2015 and earlier, notable additions included an Allosaurus skeleton display, a Dragons exhibit exploring legends from a biblical viewpoint, Dr. Crawley's Insectorium focusing on insects, and a hologram exhibit of Lucy the ape addressing human origins. Between 2019 and 2020, the museum transformed with new exhibits covering two-thirds of its space, a children's playground, a 4D special effects theater, and an upgraded Stargazer Planetarium. In 2022, renovations included Palm Plaza and a mezzanine overlook, the Fearfully & Wonderfully Made pro-life exhibit, and an expanded Welcome Center. Accessibility improvements were made in 2023. Recent additions in 2024 feature a new conservatory with biblical plants, an expanded Creation Zoo, an Eden Teaching Center, and an accessibility audio tour. New for this year are a Wallaby Walkabout, a Butterfly House, a Creature Feature House, a Radiance exhibit on identity, and a mobile app. Additionally, the museum will host the 40 Days of Christian Music festival starting July 29, 2025, at the Ark Encounter, with concerts beginning the next day at the museum featuring artists like Triumphant and Crowder, along with speakers including Ken Ham and Ray Flynn.
