Illustrated by Mariuccia Roccotelli, the book is published by Alpes Italia Editore. Monteiro de Castro, born in Rio de Janeiro in 1970 and based in Rome, has authored multiple books across genres, while Roccotelli, a scenography graduate from Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, contributes metaphorical imagery. The work aims to capture love's complexity without sentimentality.
