Casabella Magazine Issue 977 Features Seven Emerging Italian Architecture Studios

The January 2026 issue of Casabella magazine, titled 'Italian Singularities II,' presents the work of seven Italian architecture studios appearing in the publication for the first time. The featured practices include Associates Architecture, Balance Architettura, Campomarzio, Orizzontale, Studiospazio, Supervoid, and Enrico Scaramellini. The editorial project was developed by Maria Claudia Clemente and Francesco Isidori of Studio Labics, together with Michel Carlana, who also curated the previous issue 967 from March 2025. The issue continues the magazine's cultural project of highlighting contemporary Italian architecture, acknowledging the field's ongoing efforts to regain visibility. The final pages include a text by Juan José Lahuerta reflecting on Lilly Reich's role in the German Pavilion at the 1929 Barcelona Exhibition.
