The Carlo Bilotti Museum, established in 2006 within the historic Orangery building in Villa Borghese's Garden of the Lake, houses a permanent collection donated by collector Carlo Bilotti. The museum features works by prominent artists including Giorgio de Chirico, Gino Severini, Andy Warhol, Larry Rivers, Mimmo Rotella, Marion Greenstone, and Pietro Consagra, alongside temporary exhibitions focused on contemporary art. The building itself has architectural significance, with surviving elements from its 18th-century origins and 19th-century reconstruction, originally serving as a reception space for the Borghese family and later as winter shelter for citrus plants. Operated by Rome's Capitoline Superintendency, the museum offers free admission as part of efforts to promote cultural accessibility.
