Bold Studio has released BB Origin (Pro), a typeface that draws on neo-grotesque influences, exaggerating and rendering them in pure form. The design responds to the historical adaptation of neo-grotesque typefaces to technical limitations, which created an ambivalent design language. Now, technology allows the original calligraphic curves and high-contrast stems to be harmonized with balanced geometry and uniform shapes. The typeface includes two variants (Origin and Iconic), 13 stylistic sets, 18 weights, 33 OpenType features, 34 styles, support for 93 languages, and 43,350 glyphs (1,275 per style).
