The Australian Museum has produced a video series honoring Samoa's 60th independence anniversary, released throughout June 2022. The series features interviews with respected Samoan individuals, including cultural advisor Fa'agalu Dominic Taeoalii Fonoti, who discusses Samoa's independence struggle and the importance of preserving Fa'a Samoa traditions. Fonoti has promoted Samoan tourism internationally through traditional dance and led performances for events like the 1988 World Expo and the Manu Samoa rugby team's war dance. The project aims to commemorate this historical milestone.
