publication · 2026-03-20

An anonymous artwork titled 'King of the World' was installed in front of the United States Capitol on March 10, 2026. Created by the pseudonymous artist collective The Secret Handshake, the sculpture portrays former President Donald Trump and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in a pose parodying a famous scene from the 1997 film Titanic. The installation includes banners featuring images of both figures and a plaque drawing satirical parallels between the fictional romance and their relationship. This temporary public work responds to recent Justice Department releases of documents containing abuse allegations against Trump from the Epstein case.
