Albert Camus archives acquired by BNF for €9 million

The archives of Albert Camus, including manuscripts, false papers, and letters, have been acquired by the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BNF) for €9 million. The collection, previously held by the writer's family, was purchased with financial support from the Hermès house and the CIC bank. The acquisition ensures public access to Camus's personal and literary materials.
