Archaeologists have identified 79 new graffiti inscriptions on a wall in Pompeii's theater district using advanced imaging technology. These markings, which had been too faint for human eyes to detect, include what researchers interpret as a 2,000-year-old love note. The discovery occurred in the ancient Roman city of Pompeii, which was preserved under volcanic ash from Mount Vesuvius's eruption in 79 CE.
