5 Continents Editions Wins MGIP BOOK AWARD 2024 with 'Interno Pompeiano'

Founded in February 2002 by Eric Ghysels, 5 Continents Editions is an independent art book publisher based in Italy. The press recently won the MGIP BOOK AWARD 2024 for its volume 'Interno Pompeiano' by Luigi Spina. Ghysels describes the editorial line as a lens to discover art, humanity, and creativity without spatial or temporal boundaries. The publisher collaborates with scholars, intellectuals, gallerists, and major museums and foundations in Italy and abroad. Ghysels, who grew up in Dordogne, France, learned from his father Jean-Pierre, a student of Ossip Zadkine, to consider life and art as a binomial and to make a book 'like a sculpture.'
